Taste of South Grey

Join us on October 22nd for the 2026 South Grey Business Awards Celebration; an evening dedicated to the businesses that keep Chatsworth, Grey Highlands, Southgate and West Grey thriving. Forget the traditional dinner—this year, we have turned our awards celebration into a tasting adventure, comprised of Tasting Stations from some amazing businesses right here in South Grey!

We’ve invited local businesses to bring their specialties, which have then been paired with some unexpected and delicious accompaniments. From familiar favourites to new flavour combinations, you will have the opportunity to sample, mingle, discover, and enjoy a little culinary creativity along the way. Here is your chance to learn why foods are paired together, their origin, and even an opportunity to try things you never would have experienced otherwise. An electrifying experience from start to finish.

In addition, Foodland Markdale will astound you with their grazing table, where you can experience their remarkable charcuterie boards, proving that our local businesses are top shelf! Come casual, come curious, and come ready to taste something different!

A Tasting Unlike Any Other

Taste of South Grey brings together the region's food and beverage makers, each sharing a sample of one of their signature products. Then we take it a step further. Our committee pairs products from local businesses so they are enjoyed together, creating combinations you will not find anywhere else.

Think velvety chocolate ice cream with a touch of black garlic. Savoury pork sausage bites with house-made barbecue sauce. Every pairing is a small, delicious introduction to the talent, creativity and collaboration found right here in South Grey.
